Nonprofit Campaigns
With a passion for mission-driven work, my background includes creating marketing assets, events, member programs, and educational activities designed to inspire action. The below examples were times I went above and beyond my on-paper responsibilities to execute campaigns in support of organizational values and goals.
Save the Pygmy Dragon Panda
Concept design, writing, creative direction, photo shoot direction, art direction, game pathway building

I fully designed and executed an educational Alternate Reality Game at the National Zoo. I worked closely with illustrator and designer Mal Jones to brand the campaign, tech startup SCVNGR to build the experience, and internal artists, creators, and biologists to bring the game to life. Groups used their cell phones to navigate around the Zoo, solve puzzles, interact with actors, and learn about conservation to help save the Pygmy Dragon Panda, a make-believe species.
Agents of Change
Writing, concept design, creative direction, video editing, pathway building

I responded to a call to action from digital leaders across the Smithsonian and other D.C. cultural institutions for a pan-institutional collaboration that would attract new visitors. I pitched and executed an immersive event, a science fiction narrative game. I worked within EdTech startup Green Door Labs to oversee the experience, collaborated with illustrator Cody Coltharp, and partnered with museum leads. I fostered a relationship with Girls Scouts of America to play. Participants used a custom app to “travel” from a post-apocalyptic future to curate objects from across the museums and National Zoo to build a utopian vision for their future societies.
Murder at the Met, An American Art Mystery
Pro bono narrative consulting, game pathway building

Off of the success of Agents of Change, I consulted with the Metropolitan Museum of Art on their Muse Award-winning game, Murder at the Met: An American Art Mystery to achieve its goal of attracting new teen visitors. I collaborated with MET employees Alice W. Schwarz, Masha Turchinsky, and Katherine Abbey on narrative design, and used startup mobile web tool, TourSphere, to construct the game.
Digital Marketing Production
During my career, I’ve overseen the production of thousands of videos and graphics from short-form social hits to longer-form YouTube series and on-air specials. Below are a few highlights.
The Ready Room Hosted by Wil Wheaton
Multiple Clio, Telly, and Shorty Award-Winning after show

My role as a Director of Creative Video involved day-to-day supervision of a Senior Producer, Associate Producer, Production Assistant/Researcher, and Production Management in the development of this acclaimed after show for Star Trek, including brainstorms, production documents, stakeholder engagement, approvals, and delivery.
iCarly | Behind The Scenes: iStyle Black Hair
Shorty Award Bronze winning video

I always ensure that the voices of my team are amplified, so that they can deliver diverse and exceptional content. As a manager, I champion for the production of inclusive content online and on-air, and allow space for trying new and innovative material and formats. This resulted in my team creating award-winning work they were proud of.
Visual/Art Direction
I frequently collaborate with illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, and art directors on shoots for web and social content.
Plan a SpongeBob SquarePants Party
Collaborative concept development, photo shoot client, writing

From taking a hands-on approach to writing articles and newsletters, to building crafts, to overseeing creative producers on their work, I’ve touched all aspects of the production process across web and visual media. I was one of the first strategists and contributors to NickelodeonParents.com, a resource site for parents and caregivers to engage with their kids using the Nickelodeon friends they love. The site was also a strategic marketing initiative to feed the Nickelodeon Pinterest presence, where parents could find resources to plan parties and more, reaching over 80M fans on a shoestring budget.
Marketing and Communications Excellence
I’ve led social media, e-mail, and SMS marketing for popular brands, totaling roughly 100M followers. In addition to providing strategic oversight, I also love to roll up my sleeves and write, design, and produce content. I excel at developing authentic brand voices, analyzing audience profiles, conducting competitive and market trends research, and engaging stakeholders.
